Neon Draft Racers
★★★★☆ 4.1
Neon Draft Racers leans hard into the drafting mechanic, and it works. You tuck behind a rival to build speed, then slingshot past at the right moment, and nailing that timing feels fantastic. The handling is forgiving enough for casual play but has a skill ceiling for people who want to shave seconds.
The tracks are glowing night-city loops with plenty of shortcuts, and the sense of speed is genuinely strong on a phone. Car upgrades are straightforward and you earn them just by racing, which I preferred to a grindy progression wall. The music is pure synth and I ended up leaving it on.
It's not deep, but it's not trying to be. This is a pick-up-and-grin racer, and a few races before bed became a habit for me.
